Carolan Festival Worcester, VT

Our festival is a gathering of people who play, listen, sing, or dance to
the music of Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738), Irish harper and composer.

Directions to the Carolan Festival on Saturday at The Mallery Farm (108 Norton Rd., Worcester, VT 05682):

The Mallery Farm is located at 108 Norton Rd. just across the Putnamville line in Worcester. From Montpelier it is ~ 15 min. drive; there will be a sign posted at Norton Rd.

From I-89 take Exit 8 (Montpelier). Follow signs for Rt. 12.

Go 7 mi. north on Rt. 12 (Elm St.) from Montpelier to the north side of the little village of Putnamville (you will pass Wrightsville Reservoir on your right, just before Putnamville)

Take a right on Norton Rd. (sign posted) and immediately cross a bridge.

108 Norton Rd. is ~0.6 mi. on the left (don't worry that the house #'s seem to be scrambled; this is because you've just crossed the town line- unmarked- from Putnamville into Worcester)

If the Festival must move to the Rain Location (Doty Elementary School), a sign will be posted to that effect at the end of Norton Rd. Drive ~2.5 miles north on Rt. 12 from Norton Rd. Turn right at The Worcester Town Hall- at the Corner of Rt. 12 and Calais Rd.

Continue a short distance and look for Doty Elementary School on the left, 24 Calais Rd.
